Madame Ricotta is run by Olga and Domenico. It is a stand full of original Italian flavors. Their counters tempt customers with a wealth of Apulian cheeses and olives. You can also buy excellent pasta and cheeses from northern Italy here. The undisputed hit here is the tall focaccia, which rises for 48 hours – wonderful bubbles of dough baked at a high temperature, a crispy crust soaked in olive oil and a fluffy, beautifully aerated interior – you don’t eat focaccia like this every day! In addition, from the very first days at BioBazar, you were enchanted by gorgonzola dolce scooped straight from the wheel with a ladle. Apart from that, Madame Ricotta offers many interesting cheeses with intense aromas – there is, for example, the characteristic Roccolino, Caciocavallo, and sheep’s cheese with truffles, as well as an unusual truffle pesto made from butter, olive oil, cheese, and black truffles – just a little bit of this delicacy can saturate a dish with a unique aroma. It is worth knowing that you can also buy great frozen dumplings and noodles prepared according to original Italian recipes and ingredients at the stand. Ravioli, tortellacci, or gnocchi with various fillings just need to be thrown into salted boiling water, and a moment later you can enjoy a delicious dinner. We recommend serving them with tomato sauce, cheese sauce, butter, or olive oil and Parmesan cheese.
So, we have a piece of sunny Italy at BioBazar, and if you want to recreate the atmosphere of Bari or Genoa in your own home, regardless of the season, now you can! Come and visit us!
