Peter and Ewa Stratenwerth’s organic farm is located in Grzybów in the Mazovia region. Peter was one of the first people in Poland to take an interest in organic farming, and as a result, the farm obtained certification as early as 1991. The farm has a bakery famous for its excellent Hrubego bread, and a cheese dairy where hard cow’s, goat’s and mixed cheeses are produced using the Swiss method. The farmers are vegetarians, so the cheeses are made exclusively with microbial rennet. Almost 12 hectares are covered by meadows and pastures where farm animals graze – cows and goats have plenty of space to roam.

Hruby rye bread is made from organic grains ground on stone querns, water and sourdough. Interestingly and valuably, the bread is baked in a wood-fired oven. That’s something! The farm in Grzybowo has a wonderful energy, which you will also feel at the stand. The people who create this place and stand behind these products share their goodness, they are warm and genuine. Have you had the opportunity to meet them yet?
